Completed in 1995, this flagship facility was the first of its kind in the Peninsula to serve the dual purpose of fire and ambulance station. Funded by the Ministry of Health, the ambulance program component creatively fit into the overall concept. The facility boasts a 7000 square foot apparatus floor equipped for emergency response vehicle storage, state of the art underfloor and apron slab heating systems, which prolongs vehicle life. Overall this building has been very efficient from a functional stand point and very economical to operate.
