Niagara Falls, Ontario
Located on Stanley Avenue, in a section of Niagara Falls that once supported a variety of industrial uses, this project was completed in 2015 and is an example of a Brownfield development. This new commerical two storey plaza houses professional offices and small manufacturing enterprises. Through its usage of exterior finishes, materiality, and colour, while exhibiting an appropriate character, function, form and street scale, the building was compatible within the industrial fabric and surrounding sub-urban neighbourhood. By reducing the setback the building was placed over half as close to the street line from where it existed, embacing the public and pedestrian realm.
