Additions to St. Chistopher Catholic Elementary School were completed in 1998. The additions and alterations to St. Christopher included a new gymnasium completed with a raised stage with storage underneath, new gymnasium storage, new boys and girls change rooms, a new library as well as two new kindergarten classrooms. In addition to the new educational spaces, new administrative offices were added including a new principals office. The re-working of the school made it necessary to make a new front entrance adjacent to the administrative offices to monitor the visitors entrance to the school. The new entrance included a large covered canopy that incorporated a steel cross as a column. This acted as a focal point which made the entrance to the school easily recognizable.
