Ripley's Believe It or Not unveiled in 2004 a spectacular and long awaited facade renovation. This one-of-a-kind museum has been located on Clifton Hill since 1963. The new facade was part of a greater renovation involving an interactive 1,500 square feet exhibit, and a new lobby with world class displays. The new exterior is unique architecturally, evoking the look of "The Ripley's Tower" toppling over and onto its side. The facade is a very creative response to the functional and underlying theme of the program experience; a museum that displays a unique mix of unusual and sometimes bizarre entertainment and education for those who frequent. Clifton Hill offers an array of unique interactive and entertaining experiences captured through building scale, facade appearance and building program function; as seen through its public domain.
The project stands as a testament to our teams ability to create unique, one of a kind projects. It has undergone further renovations through 2017 in which Raimondo + Associates Architects Inc. was involved.
