Niagara Falls, Ontario
This prominent and high-profile project was successfully completed over a six-and-a-half-month construction period spanning the winter of 1998 through the spring of 1999. Designed with a bold and iconic architectural expression, the building’s distinctive dome form quickly became a landmark, serving as one of the first visually striking structures encountered by visitors crossing into Canada via the Rainbow Bridge from the United States.
The architectural design aimed to create a memorable and recognizable identity for the building within the Niagara Falls skyline. Its unique shape and prominent location made it an enduring symbol of the area’s vibrant entertainment district.
Although Planet Hollywood ceased operations at this location in 2017, the site remains an important part of the urban fabric, and exciting new developments are anticipated to bring renewed life and energy to this celebrated architectural setting.
