Thorold, Ontario
Completed in 2018, this bungalow was built to replace an existing bunaglow on the same site. The design incorporates wood features over the garage and entrance porch as well as an in-law suite and basement apartment.
One of the main goals of the home's general massing and overall aesthetic was to balance its scale and appearance with the smaller one storey bunaglows commonly located within the established neighbourhood. The introduction of the emphasized roof planes subtly provided a desired style while also allowing the home to sit within its surroundings.
The exterior material palette comprises of stone, wood and stucco, with high-end interior finishes.
