Elements, completed in 2019, is a multi-residential condominium building that makes a strong visual statement with a scale and material palette selected to complement the surrounding residential neighbourhood. The unique design of the 3-storey, 38-unit condominium building achieved 25% savings being more efficient than code. Key energy conservation measures were improved wall and roof insulation, heat recovery ventilators, LED lighting, energy star appliances, drain water heat recovery and low-flow shower heads and tap aerators. The long linear footprint provides positive orientation and circulation, while offering ready access and engaging views. The design includes 27 surface parking spaces, including accessible spaces as well as successfully incorporating underground parking. Elements distinguishes itself by being close to the sidewalk and Lakeport Road, offering public realm engagement and a unyielding emphasis on urban living.
