RAAI at Funding Announcement for Oonuhseh Niagara Native Homes Projects

The design/build team of Raimondo + Associates Architects Inc. (RAAI) + Rinaldi Homes were on site in Thorold today for the important funding announcement ceremony for two Oonuhseh Niagara Native Homes projects. 

Along with various municipal, jurisdictional, federal and provincial authorities, the announcement showcases the governments of Canada and Ontario's commitment to build community housing in Thorold and St. Catharines for Indigenous people. The projects, a duplex in Thorold and a fourplex in St. Catharines, will both be wheelchair accessible, have wider entrances, lower countertops and washrooms with accessible features. 

The Raimondo + Rinaldi team is happy to be working on these much-needed developments in Niagara that will provide safe, modern and affordable places to live for indigenous people. 

Construction will begin in the coming weeks.
