New Thorold Veterinary Hospital Taking Shape
January 2019
Visitors to downtown Thorold will notice that steel is going up for the new 8,000 square feet Thorold Veterinary Hospital, which includes an open-concept waiting area as well as examination and surgery rooms. The unique characteristics of the project promote creative and high quality architecture for the downtown core of Thorold. Located on a corner, the site orientation is facing south, with a slender footprint, widening out onto the site to the east. This allows for maximum exposure to the sun and more natural daylight opportunities. The building's material palette acknowledges the materiality of the locale and historic structures within downtown Thorold.
