New Thorold Museum and Cultural Centre Revealed to Council

The design for the new Thorold Museum and Cultural Centre was revealed by Raimondo + Associates Architects and Reich and Petch to the City of Thorold Council this week. The project aims to transform the old fire station on Towpath Street into a museum and cultural hub. Proposed renovations include adding an addition as well as a courtyard that features exposing remnants of the old canal. Due to the proposed budget, Council voted to reassess the project based on revised design options.
