Thorold, Ontario
This 3 storey, 14 unit apartment building was constructed on a narrow strip at the corner of a larger parcel of land owned by the Thorold Non-Profit Housing Corporation. Due to budget constraints and a short construction schedule, the building was designed using wood frame construction techniques, with traditional brick and stucco finishes. The apartments are geared for low income seniors, all are 1 bedroom with 2 being barrier free units. Parking and landscape amenities are shared with the existing 5 storey residential building on the same property.
